Almost all capacitor failures are accompanied by an increase in temperature, so monitoring the operating temperature rise and shell deformation of capacitors is an effective technical means of warning capacitor failures. Wireless deformation temperature sensors have temperature and deformation measurement functions, consisting of low-power MCU, semiconductor strain gauges, digital temperature sensors, 2.4GHz digital RF transceivers, and high-temperature lithium-ion batteries. They are mainly used for temperature and deformation monitoring of equipment shells with oil tanks, such as power capacitors, transformers, and other equipment.
