The wireless cable shielding layer leakage current sensor monitors the weak current leaked from the cable skin online, and transmits the collected current data to the base station (center) platform through wireless sensor network (WSN) technology, which can prevent leakage accidents caused by leakage. The wireless cable skin shielding layer leakage current sensor samples and measures the power frequency AC signal through the electromagnetic induction principle of the current transformer. It samples real-time current values from several points (enough) within one AC signal cycle, calculates the true effective value through an innovative Δ ∑ calculation method, and sends the measured current and voltage values to nearby base stations or central platforms through wireless signals, achieving real-time online monitoring.
